Yes, I Am My Sister's Keeper

I want to close this 2009 year acknowledging an organization of women called Yes,I Am My Sister's Keeper. From what I've leaned is that this group of women teaches on self-love and empowerment to women of all colors, race and ethics. I was asked to befriend a young lady by the name of Chloe from my Face book page. Chloe seems to be a very inspiring and motivated get down to the business type of lady. It was unfortunate that she was recently out of touch for awhile due to a computer problem, but she's back and more knowledgeable then ever.... And so after a week or so I was then asked to befriend Yes, I Am My Sister's Keeper which I was honored to except. This organization of women seems to inspire and amaze me even more with their daily encouraging quotes and comments. So here I am writing a blog about it.

It brings joy to my heart to see that a group of women can come together to make a difference in each others lives. Yes, I Am My Sister's Keeper seeks to make a change in the way we as women should live, make decisions, set goals, stay focused and being productive. They also inspire us as women to always take some me time as well as teaching us on how to know who you are as a woman. They encourage us to get to know ourselves through self-love, peace, joy, and strength.

If you don't know this organization: Yes, I Am MY Sister's Keeper. Get to know them by joining them on Face book or log on to the website: I Am My Sister's Keeper.Com. They will bless you and enrich your life.... Question: Are you your sister's keeper?

Thanks to Chloe for introducing me to such a wonderful group of women, Yes, I Am My Sister's Keeper. I appreciate your knowledge and encouraging words.

Love, peace & blessings in the New Year,

Let Go

Why does it seems so hard to let go? Is it because we get so attached that when it's time to move forward fear consumes us? So we continue to stay connected when we know good-in-well that we should have let go a long time ago. Letting go maybe one of the hardest things for us. We have yet to take full control over these words; "Let Go." It's a difficult decision that one must make when it may cause pain or disappointment.

Letting go can affect us deeply in many different areas of our lives. It may cause one to become violent, outraged or even mentally ill. We have to learn to let go be it a relationship, friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, children, and even if it's the death of a love one.

We have to let God move in our act of letting go, so that He can place us in a state of mind that letting go can give us that peace, joy, understanding, love and strength to know that letting go is a victory.

Letting go is knowing that you have overcome the need to hold on...I Grant you strength & victory to receive the power to LET GO!!!

Single Black Men

I recently read an article about five very single black men giving the low down on the availability of black men, women standards, and putting a ring on it.

Well! Ladies the word is that we need to check our standards. Listen up… The brothers don’t seem to mind a women with standard; but ladies your standards might be a little to high for the brothers. Word is that they are all not ballers. Sista’s y’all seem to want the men with the fancy cars, the big homes, and the executive jobs. Ladies bring it down a little it seems that y’all always turning a brothers down, you don’t compromise, ladies you make the brothers work to hard, and you have that attitude like I deserve this and that, but the brothers are saying; “No, you don’t!”

So my black sista’s, here’s why our brothers are turning to white women because they don’t put as much pressure on the brother like the sista’s. The white women give the brother’s money for whatever need, do their laundry, and get this the white women even let the brothers driver their dad’s Benz…Wow! If I did that my daddy & mama would beat my butt all up and down the City of Chicago streets. White woman are more willing, they compromise, and they are more about the pleasing your man first.

Ladies in order for the brothers to put a ring on it you must stop listening to your girls who either has a bad attitude or don’t even have man at all, and stop being obnoxiously loud or trying to be the center of attention that turns the brothers off. Amp it up in the bedroom be a little nasty, being a little loud doesn't hurt either, also be open to trying new stuff…And ladies the brothers said: Oral is a plus especially if your over 30.

Well! Ladies there you have it. Get it together; sista’s so that the brothers you’re seeing will, in the words of Beyonce…” PUT A RING ON IT.”

It's Whitney Houston...My Girl!

I had to write about my girl... The beautiful and sexy Whitney Houston whom I have much love and respect for. Don't judge, because we all have errors and flaws.

Whitney swept me away with her soulful, and salutary voice. I have been front and center for more than 20 years, but something happened. The singer did herself no favors when she participated in a far-too-revealing 2002 television interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer, during which she was asked about the widely spreaded rumors of drug use. Whitney hotly disputed the allegations, but the damage was done. Three years later, she imploded after a too-public display of untoward behavior with her then-husband Bobby Brown, on a reality TV show. Her mask was ripped off. Her vulnerabilities were revealed.{Ebony Magazine}

Can you imagine how hard it was when Whitney vanished from the public eyes. She need time to handle her business; to get herself straight...But when I got wind about her dropping a new CD I was over-whelm with excitement. It seemed like forever for Whitney to reconnect with me her BIGGEST fan, but the wait was definitely worth it. When I was told that she was on the Ebony Magazine I nearly recked my car getting to the newsstand. Umm!...that's funny now that I think about it...Hehehe!... So lets put the past behind us moving forward.

She's indeed back! with her hot new CD I LOOK TO YOU...I love it with my favorites song being A SONG FOR YOU & MILLION DOLLAR BILL being the best video.

Whitney Houston "I ask God to LIFT ME, to let me see my light again."

Whitney Houston my love is real for you.... #1 fan
Blessings, Sista

ShoYoLuv

I often tell my family and friends to ShoYoLuv today, tomorrow and forever, but I sometimes forget to take my own advice. I've learned in these God given days of my life that if you don't completely love yourself you will never know how to love someone else. God loved us first as His very own, so that we would take that same love; to love ourselves and others.

(The World say) Love is deep affection or fondness, sexual passion, sexual relationship, beloved one; sweetheart, delight in; admire; greatly cherish(The American Century Dictionary).

(God Said) Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek it own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoice in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, love never fails (Nelson Study Bible).

I asked myself do I really walk in God's kind of love? Honestly; No!!!... I don't, because the part that says believe all things. Well! I don't believe all things, so I myself fall short in that area, Okay!... Let's keep it moving>>> Where do you fall short in God's way of love?

In my famous words ShoYoLuv is my way of motivating people on how they should use love as a way of making it through the trials & tribulations that life has to offer us. Through ShoYoLuv you can conquer all these things, Suffering, hurt, pain, hatred, doubt, fear, jealousy, envy, hardship, rejection, failure, poverty, foolishness, rudeness, provokers, misunderstandings, and negativity.

Question: Who's Love do you follow? God's or Mr. Nelson? Do you need time to think about it.... Times up... What is your answer?

Until next time ya'll, and don't forget to ShoYoLuv.

Rihanna & Chris Brown

I’m not to sure what to think about the Chris Brown and Rihanna interviews, because domestic violence goes beyond the celebrities. There are millions of young ladies and women who are going through domestic violence’s daily. But they are too afraid to tell or talk about how their husbands or boyfriend is hitting and beating them.

I am happy that Rihanna has decided to leave Chris Brown; to came out to speak openly about this act of violence from her then boyfriend Chris Brown. There is a healing that each of them need. The good thing about Rihanna and Chris Brown is that they both have acknowledged that there is a problem; and that they are will to get the help they need to start a healing process, but like I said early on domestic violence goes beyond being famous. It hits home for many young ladies and women all around the world.

Today there are young ladies and women who don’t have the courage that Rihanna had to come forward to talk about their abusive husbands or boyfriends. I myself has experience it once in a relationship before, but I can say that I had sense enough to know when it was time to leave; but there are so many young ladies and women who are not strong minded as I, to say enough is enough.

Many young ladies and women are too afraid to walk away from their abuser. Most young ladies and women are afraid of what might happen to them after they have walked away or where will they go and how will the make a living without their abusing husband or boyfriend. We often look at the abused young lady or woman and say "if that was me I would have walked away along time ago” or “I wouldn’t take that off my any man” and finally “girl! Just walk away from him.” Yes, all that is easily said then done. Young ladies and women are afraid of their abuser, and think that leaving home may result in losing their life; so they stay hoping that it will get better.... But I am here to tell you ladies....Wrong!!! It gets worst.

Ladies it will NEVER get better; so put away with the love you have for your abuser and get HELP!

“Love who you are as a WOMAN”… Period

Peace & love…

The Fort Hood Shooting

This weekend I anticipated on writing a blog that would encourage my sista's, but no... I must write about the Fort Hood Texas shooting. Now I have no idea of what this man was thinking or who has pissed him off to the point that made him kill. Midal Malik Hasan 39 year old Army psychiatrist suspect in the assault that killed 13 people, and hurt 30 others. He was a counselor who once required counseling for himself because of trouble he had dealing with some patients. Check this out Nidal Malik Hasan had difficulties that required counseling and extra supervision. Why is this man still on base...Somebody please explain!

Now here's a man that is sworn by a oath of loyalty to the military, but he turns around and open fire on his on people. What the HELL... Now I must ask this question; Can our soldiers trust each other now? I am out raged.

Two of our very own Chicago soldiers was confirmed victims of the massacre Thursday afternoon. Killed was Michael Pearson of Bolingbrook and Fancheska Velez of Humboldt Park. Two people who knew that they was doing justice for our country.

Does the families of these victims have the right to be anger? What do you think?

Lord... How do we deal with this type of situation? I can only say this, if a staff member is having a problem that requires counseling or extra supervision remove him/her temporally for the safety of the others.

My prayers goes out to the families of these lost soldiers.

Peace & Love,

Men & Women Is It Just Sex

I was recently on FB, and I came across a question asking; "How long do you think a relationship will last if it's based on sex?" So here's my spill on it. When men and women meet are they looking at the person thinking okay, here's another piece of sex? What are we think when we meet a new male or female? Do we see them as a sex object or as a different person to befriend with the word new sex partner only coming to mind? Is it okay to be in a relationship that's based on sex? Hell ta da na'll!!! In order to develop a stable and trusting relationship. You have to know who you are as a person, and don't allow yourself to except anything goes in the relationship.

Ladies & Gents make sure you have some kind of connection with the person you're dating. Sex is not always the route to take.

RevRun's Wisdom; "Getting into a relationship or marriage for sex is like buying a 747 airplane for the free peanuts...FOOLISH!!!" Stay FOCUSED on the type of relationship you really want.

Teen Violence

Have our teen lost sight on the ways of righteousness? I have a need to touch on the teen violence. Listen up… are we in a world where the evil of darkness has come in to steal the minds of our teens? Scripture says: “For the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy.” That is definitely what our teens are doing, just what the enemy has marked them to do, killing and destroy one another. This year 500 teens have been killed by violence… What’s up with that? Are gangs taking our teens from the homes and rising our teens or teaching them to turn away from education,to prepare them for juvenile detention or even a life in prison?... Tell me no

What is really going on? Is the teen violence caused by not having two parents in the homes? Or is it lack of love in the homes that causing our teens to reach out to gangs, and violence? What is it that we as parents need to do to convent our teens from these acts of violence and killings? Wake up young people to the realty of knowing that killing one another has no purpose… Please see that the result of these acts is a lost life.

Can I ask is there a gang remembers willing to STAND Up to say? LET’S STOP THE VOILENCE, SHOOTINGS, AND KILLINGS OF OUR TEENS.

Fake Christians/Believers

This is my very fist blog, and you might think that as a first time blogger it shouldn't be about a issue that I have with fake Christians or believers. My question is why are Christians/believers pretending to be who they are not? For instant my church I'm not going to give the name of the church. How ever I do believe in the privacy protection law. Now this is why I'm calling this story fake Christians/believers. I realize that this is a story that might piss off some people, but I have a need to get this off my chest. Here we have a Pastor who the supposedly the head or leader of the church... Right. Now if he is the very one who is being the biggest fake of them all what are the Christians/believers are to do? Here's the story when you have a Pastor who is the biggest Lier of them all telling the members of the church personal business before the congregation calling out members of the church on what they did the night before is certainly unacceptable. Granted that these conversation with the Pastor are held behind closed doors strictly between the Pastor and his member with no one else around. Here is the FAKE Christians/believers part where I lmao... After the conversations with members of the church he on the next Sunday morning service the FAKE (A***) Pastor stand before the congregation telling the congregation what was said in private to him... Can you believe this? He literally put his members (namely a young name Betty) on the spot I won't going into details on the story about Betty, but... Wow! The other fake parts of the church is the older ladies they are call the Mothers....Unbelieveable. I call them the whispers and nay say(er's). The Mothers of the church whispers about other members, they lie, steal, back stab and mostly they laugh in your face acting like a friend. The first Ladies (FAKE A***) they will pray in the prayer circle bring everyone to tries, lay hands, and fall out under the spirit. Have everyone member happy and singing for joy. 2 minutes later after the prayer circle had ended they(First Ladies) talks about everyone that was in the circle... Fake christian/believer. I personally have walked away from the church scene, because of the fake act of Christians/believers. There seem to be FAKE A*** acts of love, deliverance, belief, teaching, and money grabbing going on in my church. It's all... FAKE. Now I'm not proclaiming all Church's as a part of my FAKE Christians story, but it is what it is... That's my take on FAKE A** CHRISTIANS/BELIEVERS
