It's Whitney Houston...My Girl!

I had to write about my girl... The beautiful and sexy Whitney Houston whom I have much love and respect for. Don't judge, because we all have errors and flaws.

Whitney swept me away with her soulful, and salutary voice. I have been front and center for more than 20 years, but something happened. The singer did herself no favors when she participated in a far-too-revealing 2002 television interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer, during which she was asked about the widely spreaded rumors of drug use. Whitney hotly disputed the allegations, but the damage was done. Three years later, she imploded after a too-public display of untoward behavior with her then-husband Bobby Brown, on a reality TV show. Her mask was ripped off. Her vulnerabilities were revealed.{Ebony Magazine}

Can you imagine how hard it was when Whitney vanished from the public eyes. She need time to handle her business; to get herself straight...But when I got wind about her dropping a new CD I was over-whelm with excitement. It seemed like forever for Whitney to reconnect with me her BIGGEST fan, but the wait was definitely worth it. When I was told that she was on the Ebony Magazine I nearly recked my car getting to the newsstand. Umm!...that's funny now that I think about it...Hehehe!... So lets put the past behind us moving forward.

She's indeed back! with her hot new CD I LOOK TO YOU...I love it with my favorites song being A SONG FOR YOU & MILLION DOLLAR BILL being the best video.

Whitney Houston "I ask God to LIFT ME, to let me see my light again."

Whitney Houston my love is real for you.... #1 fan

ShoYoLuv

I often tell my family and friends to ShoYoLuv today, tomorrow and forever, but I sometimes forget to take my own advice. I've learned in these God given days of my life that if you don't completely love yourself you will never know how to love someone else. God loved us first as His very own, so that we would take that same love; to love ourselves and others.

(The World say) Love is deep affection or fondness, sexual passion, sexual relationship, beloved one; sweetheart, delight in; admire; greatly cherish(The American Century Dictionary).

(God Said) Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek it own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoice in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, love never fails (Nelson Study Bible).

I asked myself do I really walk in God's kind of love? Honestly; No!!!... I don't, because the part that says believe all things. Well! I don't believe all things, so I myself fall short in that area, Okay!... Let's keep it moving>>> Where do you fall short in God's way of love?

In my famous words ShoYoLuv is my way of motivating people on how they should use love as a way of making it through the trials & tribulations that life has to offer us. Through ShoYoLuv you can conquer all these things, Suffering, hurt, pain, hatred, doubt, fear, jealousy, envy, hardship, rejection, failure, poverty, foolishness, rudeness, provokers, misunderstandings, and negativity.

Question: Who's Love do you follow? God's or Mr. Nelson? Do you need time to think about it.... Times up... What is your answer?

Until next time ya'll, and don't forget to ShoYoLuv.

Blessings,

Rihanna & Chris Brown

I’m not to sure what to think about the Chris Brown and Rihanna interviews, because domestic violence goes beyond the celebrities. There are millions of young ladies and women who are going through domestic violence’s daily. But they are too afraid to tell or talk about how their husbands or boyfriend is hitting and beating them.

I am happy that Rihanna has decided to leave Chris Brown; to came out to speak openly about this act of violence from her then boyfriend Chris Brown. There is a healing that each of them need. The good thing about Rihanna and Chris Brown is that they both have acknowledged that there is a problem; and that they are will to get the help they need to start a healing process, but like I said early on domestic violence goes beyond being famous. It hits home for many young ladies and women all around the world.

Today there are young ladies and women who don’t have the courage that Rihanna had to come forward to talk about their abusive husbands or boyfriends. I myself has experience it once in a relationship before, but I can say that I had sense enough to know when it was time to leave; but there are so many young ladies and women who are not strong minded as I, to say enough is enough.

Many young ladies and women are too afraid to walk away from their abuser. Most young ladies and women are afraid of what might happen to them after they have walked away or where will they go and how will the make a living without their abusing husband or boyfriend. We often look at the abused young lady or woman and say "if that was me I would have walked away along time ago” or “I wouldn’t take that off my any man” and finally “girl! Just walk away from him.” Yes, all that is easily said then done. Young ladies and women are afraid of their abuser, and think that leaving home may result in losing their life; so they stay hoping that it will get better.... But I am here to tell you ladies....Wrong!!! It gets worst.

Ladies it will NEVER get better; so put away with the love you have for your abuser and get HELP!

“Love who you are as a WOMAN”… Period

Peace & love…

The Fort Hood Shooting

This weekend I anticipated on writing a blog that would encourage my sista's, but no... I must write about the Fort Hood Texas shooting. Now I have no idea of what this man was thinking or who has pissed him off to the point that made him kill. Midal Malik Hasan 39 year old Army psychiatrist suspect in the assault that killed 13 people, and hurt 30 others. He was a counselor who once required counseling for himself because of trouble he had dealing with some patients. Check this out Nidal Malik Hasan had difficulties that required counseling and extra supervision. Why is this man still on base...Somebody please explain!

Now here's a man that is sworn by a oath of loyalty to the military, but he turns around and open fire on his on people. What the HELL... Now I must ask this question; Can our soldiers trust each other now? I am out raged.

Two of our very own Chicago soldiers was confirmed victims of the massacre Thursday afternoon. Killed was Michael Pearson of Bolingbrook and Fancheska Velez of Humboldt Park. Two people who knew that they was doing justice for our country.

Does the families of these victims have the right to be anger? What do you think?

Lord... How do we deal with this type of situation? I can only say this, if a staff member is having a problem that requires counseling or extra supervision remove him/her temporally for the safety of the others.

My prayers goes out to the families of these lost soldiers.

Peace & Love,
